Buyer Terms
Last updated September 2026
What you agree to as a registered bidder and buyer.
Registration and deposits
Complete your profile with verified contact and address information before bidding. Certain lots require a refundable bid deposit; bidding stays locked until the deposit is confirmed as paid.
Your bid is a contract
Placing a bid creates a binding obligation to buy at that price if you win. Bid only after reviewing photos, videos, condition notes and — where possible — an in-person inspection.
Buyer premium and taxes
The buyer premium shown on the listing is added to the hammer price. You are responsible for applicable Florida sales tax, title and registration fees unless a valid exemption certificate is provided.
Payment
Pay by the method and deadline stated on the listing. Late payment may forfeit your deposit and your right to the lot, and repeat defaults lead to permanent suspension.
Removal and transport
Arrange removal within the stated period. Loading assistance is not guaranteed. Items left beyond the deadline may incur storage fees or be deemed abandoned.
Disputes
Report a material discrepancy between the listing and the item within 48 hours of collection to support@themarketplaceauctions.com with photos. We mediate in good faith between buyer and seller.
